Beyond Flashcards and Vocabulary Notebooks
Vocabulary notebooks and flashcards have long been regarded by language instructors as effective ways for students to store and practice the lexical items they need to learn. By adopting Kalantzis and Cope’s (2009) viewpoint on ubiquitous learning and Coxhead’s (2014) approach to teaching vocabulary, this presentation demonstrates techniques for building, storing and practicing the language your students need.
